April Snow

I went to watch April Snow together with Miss Ma.

Why did I want to watch it, you may ask... To which I reply, er dunno leh... just wanna watch lor... And I'm sooooo not interested in Bae Yong Jung (is that how you spell his name?) in the first place hor.

Anyways, you may ask, so what do you think of the show? And I reply, hmmm, ok lor... nothing fantastic and by the way, I wanna watch The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe. So cool that one!

Hmmm, April Snow ah... Hmmm, Bae Yong Jung ah... oh yah, I wanna say something about Mr. Bae. He hor, don't look like he's the kind of person who has 6 packs lor... I mean, look at his face, he macham coo niang can... And when he takes off his specs, he kind of looks... I dunno... weird! I think he looks better with his specs thank you very much.

Natural Beauty Vignettes

Heee heee… my company has been commissioned by one of the cable companies to produce a set of vignettes.

It’s called Natural Beauty. It is essentially about how fruits and vegetables can be used as facial, moisturizer and the like.

Then… hehhahahaa… I’ve volunteered my face for my colleague, Kit, to experiment on… heee heee, grace grace! As long as she experiments before 12 Nov I’m ok… cos on that day, another one of my friend is getting married and I’m gonna be her jie mei… =p

Of people, power and other demons

We had a second part to the filming of the new Supreme Court. On the last day (hopefully!!), we had to film Chief Justice (CJ) Yong Pung How in his office doing work. Obviously some of the Supreme Court people will have to follow us around lah.

One of them hor, wah, I really didn’t like the way she acted in front of the CJ can… she was careful with how she acted and tried to be on the best of behaviours. Yes, I do concur that that is important. But come on man!!!!

I feel that one does not need to grovel at the man’s feet ok!!! After all, he’s also the same was you and me what… made of flesh and blood, has various emotions and all… you know what I mean?

I really buah tahan these kind of apple polishers… pui pui!!! I look down on people like these.

Day Out at Sentosa

What a glorious day it is at Sentosa… except that when my colleague Kit and I reached the smaller-than-Singapore island, it was like drizzling!!!

Ok lah, to be honest, I never fancy lying down on a beach in order to be kissed by the sun. but now, I don’t really have a choice lah. Cos of ‘wounds’ caused by the Navy shoot in Feb 2005. that time, we were out under the disgustingly hot sun for almost the entire day and I tell you, I was chao ta hor. And since my shirt had sleeves, I was rewarded with a two-toned skin colour on my arms. Yup, the part that was covered by the sleeves was my original skin colour, which was relatively fair. The part that was exposed to the sun was chao ta.

Yup, almost 10 months later, the distinct tone has yet to fade. Wah… if I want to wear sleeveless stuff hor.. pretty ugly leh!!!! Hence, I willingly went to Sentosa to even my tone.

But alas, the weather wasn’t on my side… when Kit and I reached Sentosa at 8am, it was like drizzling… only at 10plus or so then the sun finally chose to reveal its beautiful face. But I think hor, the sun very shy leh!!! Cos hor, intermittently hor, the sun hid behind some clouds you know…. Neh mind, next time hor, I’ll Kit to go make friends with the clouds. Hor Kit?? =p so evil hor me…

Due to the shyness of the sun, my 2 toned arms didn’t really get evened out… probably have to go a few times more. If not, I think I’ll have to use a whitening lotion and bleach myself, yeah, a la Michael Jackson. =p

Selfish Turtle

Today is THE DAY!!!

So exciting!!! My friend got married!

I found out something about myself even though it’s a day about my friends: I’m pretty selfish.

Ok ok, relak one corner ok… don’t get too excited and I’ll tell you why I said that.

On this joyous occasion, my friend’s marriage, I’m their camera woman. Then the groom, Chris, had some of his brothers as usual. Amongst them are 2 photographers. (why so kiasu?) Anyhoos, with 2 photographers and 1 camera woman, we all need to fight for a good spot to get the best of the action.

During the morning, there isn’t much incident, but I reckon that I kind of getting on the nerves of the photographers already.

The crux came during the church wedding ceremony. When Chris and Apple were taking the Holy Communion as a couple, I got a good spot whereby I was able to get the couple as well as Pastor Lawrence.

Then one of the photographers was beside me and he said:

Can you let me have this spot for a while?

Then he pushed me whilst making some pek chek noises. Ok lor, then I let him have the place lor.

I must say, I felt bad blocking the photographers.

But after a while, I feel that if the photographers are truly professional, they would have been able to get the shots and get the good spot first. I mean this is not the first time I’m doing video for weddings.

One of the weddings that I did was for my uncle and aunt. They had a truly professional photographer, donch play play. And I was doing my own thing and I didn’t hear any complaint from him that I was in his way and what not.

So what’s the conclusion? Dunno. I might be defending myself. I am selfish. Of course selfish lah!! Who don’t want a good spot?

By the way, to digress a bit, both the bride and groom’s family are not Christians. Then the praise and worship was going on, and whilst Pastor Lawrence was telling the couple about stuff about God and marriage and all, the guests just sat down and talked amongst themselves or they just got up and went to the loo or something. I mean, come on ok. Have some respect ok. Damn bua tahan. We not asking you to join in or what, just respect us and respect the one and only true Living God and just keep quiet can? I mean, I’m pretty you won’t like it if we made noise while they were praying to their idols right?
