Narnia

I liked The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe and how it really paralled with our relationship with God.

There are probably a lot of things that are similar, but I'll only talk about the one that spoke to me the most.

The first time the boy Edmund his name is, met the white witch she wanted him to bring his other siblings to Narnia so that he might be a prince or king of Narnia in future.

However, this is not the way the animals as well as Aslan perceive them. They already are Kings and Queens despite them not doing anything.

This point really struck home to me. Because in the same fashion, the devil will want us to do something religious in order to become a King or Queen. However, that is not how God sees us. Once we receive and believe that Jesus is our Lord, immediately, we already are Kings and Queens, without effort, without doing anything at all.

Selah.

I didn't quite notice that part you mentioned here. Thanks for pointing that out.

I was more awed by the final battle on the war tactics of the elder brother, Peter, how he decide to send his "air-force" (drop big rocks/stone boulders)and then followed by the arrows of fires at the enemies as they charged towards his armies..

I can't wait to watch the next movie based on another of CS Lewis's books due to be shown next year. :)
